Charity and Outreach
Charity is not an afterthought. It is the work.
To soothe the unhappy, to sympathize with misfortune, to relieve a brother and a stranger alike: this is the heartbeat of the Craft, and the reason a Lodge exists at all.
"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction." James 1:27
Where Charity Begins
Built into how we are funded
Charity is not left to good intentions. Every member's monthly dues set aside a fixed share for relief and community programs, so the work is funded the moment a brother takes his obligation.
| Lodge Operations | $60.00 |
| Cornerstone Building Fund | $20.00 |
| Charity and Community Programs | $20.00 |
| Total monthly dues | $100.00 |
How We Reach Out
Relief in action
Avodah Service
Care packages and steady support for the sick, the homebound, and those without shelter. Sleeping bags, tents, food, clothing, shoes, and other essentials, given as instruments of dignity rather than momentary comfort.
The Alphonso Scholarship
Books, school supplies, and scholarship support for young people, with an aim not merely that they pass but that they surpass, awakening purpose and excellence in the next generation.
Honoring Others
We do not only serve. We celebrate those who serve.
True greatness lies not in titles or applause but in the quiet, consistent labor of love that shapes a better world. Our awards exist to find it and lift it up.
The Cornerstone Service Award
Among the Lodge's highest honors, given to members of the wider community who build quietly and faithfully where there is need, often without recognition or reward.
The Builder of Tomorrow Award
Given to a rising mind who places science, technology, healthcare, engineering, education, or invention in the service of humanity, meeting a problem with ingenuity rather than indifference.
Honorary Membership
A custom certificate of gratitude affirming a friend's role in supporting our mission. It is a token of thanks only and grants no internal Masonic rights.
Partner With Us
Schools, shelters, and neighbors
We welcome partnerships with schools, shelters, congregations, and community organizations across Phoenix. Nominations for our awards may come from any member in good standing, a student, a partnering school or organization, or by self-nomination, and a review panel appointed by the Worshipful Master considers each one.
If your organization serves people in need, or if you know a quiet servant or a promising young builder who deserves recognition, we would be glad to hear from you.
Fuel the Relief
Your gift becomes care
Every dollar given to charity and community programs returns to the streets of Phoenix as food, shelter, books, and dignity.
Under the auspices of the Most Worshipful Isaac Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Texas
